Lyrical Timeline "Bros" (Official)

To get a better understanding of the song I am producing a music video for I wanted to direct its content and look at the individual elements that make up the track. Looking at the song 'Bros' by Wolf Alice on Youtube I decided to develop my research into the song by looking at the timing of lyrics as well as the shots within the song's original music video.

I used Youtube to watch the official video and to play and pause at different sections. I used headphones to block out external noises as this meant I could focus my attention on the lyrics alone. I also used a print out of the song's lyrics to ensure the wording I used on my timesheet was 100% accurate. I then timed the different shots and lyrics and recorded them on a microsoft word document on which I had created a table for my recordings. I spent several hours playing and pausing the video in order to get the lyrics and shots perfectly lined up. Not only will this help me with the research aspect but also the planning of my own music video as I will be able to use the same lyric timings and change the visuals to plan my shooting.
