Filming Day 2 - Eaton Park

Our second filming day for the music video was an evening shoot. We travelled to Eaton Park in Norwich to film some wide angle, tracking and high angle shots. I wanted to use the evening lighting and the reflections of the pond to create an interesting frame for still, lip synching shots.

We first began our filming at Eaton Park by filming the wide angle walking shot on the large open field. For this shot, the camera was set up on a tripod and kept in the same position for all of the recordings. I then got Jordan to walk from different positions on the field and head towards the camera. This will be edited so that he is constantly walking towards the camera but jumps from place to place while moving. The shots are shown in the pictures below.

I then went onto filming the tracking shot of Jordan walking around the central hub of the park. This shot features various camera angles of Jordan walking across the path way behind the large pillars. I held the camera in front of the pillars and then performed a shot of Jordan walking towards me on the path to create a more varied selection of shots to make editing and the final piece more interesting.

We then filmed the last shot of the day around the boating lake. This shot was the first lip synching shot we'd done and I planned on using artificial lighting to create more interesting shadows across Jordan's face. The shot set-up can be seen from the screenshot below.
