Copyright Letter

In preparation for my media piece I have constructed and sent off a letter to the record label company, "Fueled by Ramen" who own the song "Stressed Out" by Twenty-One Pilots.

This is the song I wish to use in my music video and therefore I wanted to contact the record label company to get permission to use it in my work.

The company are based in New York, USA and was formed in 1996. It supports various rock genres and is part of the Warner Music Group. Fueled by Ramen currently own the rights for the artists 'Twenty One Pilots', 'Panic! At The Disco' and 'Gym Class Heroes' among others. In 2009, Paramore's third studio album "Brand New Eyes" debuted at number 2, selling 175,000 copies in its first week, making it the fastest-selling album in the label's history.

The next stage of my planning/production process will be completing a lyrical timeline and a storyboard to plan my filming.
